Evening reception welcomes key clients, HNW guests aboard the brand new Ferretti Yachts 870, moored at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club
(Hong Kong, March 10, 2015) My Yacht® Group, an international global luxury events producer, will debut a new event, and its first in Asia, in tandem with the extremely popular contemporary art fairs, March 15th – 17th, 2015. The event sees the all-new Ferretti Yachts 870, from the Italian luxury motor yachts brand Ferretti Yachts, moored at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club for a private cocktail reception, Thursday 12th March, welcoming special guests of its private wealth management partner.

The all-new Ferretti Yachts 870 on display is the first one in the “Tai He Ban by Ferretti” special edition. This special layout is characterized by interiors specifically designed to host business meetings, official receptions, informal meetings and entertainment and draws inspiration from the famous Hall of Supreme Harmony in Beijing, one of the most luxurious palaces of the Forbidden City, where the most important ceremonies were held in the presence of the Emperor and his dignitaries. The yacht is designed with cockpit bar, a saloon with additional bar area, living room with 2 sofas and a custom designed KTV room on the lower deck. Ferretti Yachts 870 comes equipped with two 12V 2000 M94 MTU engines, making 1948 mph at 2450 rev/min., for a cruising speed of 27 knots (358 nautical mile range) and a maximum speed of 30.5 knots (300nm range).
A pontoon adjacent to the yacht will feature a cigar lounge from official Art Basel partner Davidoff Cigars showcasing the new Nicaragua collection. Guests will enjoy 24-karat gold-flecked Brut and Rosé champagne from long-term partner Gold Emotion, plus single malt The Dalmore Cigar Malt Whiskey, and fine Burgundy, Chardonnay, and Swiss wines from specialized Hong Kong-based importer and retailer, Chateau Burgundy Limited.
