Los Angeles January 27, 2016 – My Yacht® Group is delighted to announce a new partnership with Performance Tech Motorsports that sees the company’s logo emblazoned on Car #38 at the Rolex 24 at DAYTONA, North America’s premier endurance race, January 30 – 31, 2016.
The Rolex 24 at Daytona features two styles of cars, prototypes and GTs, and a pro and pro-am class in each. Thus, four classes of cars race on-track simultaneously. All cars featuring pro drivers sport a red tag affixed to their car; models with pro-am drivers have green number panels. Standings and position for each class are displayed on LED panels located on the sides on each car.
Car #38 will compete in the Prototype Challenge (PC) Class, driven by pro-am drivers that will include James French and Jerome Mee. These unmodified (identical) cars feature an open cockpit, a carbon fiber chassis, carbon fiber brakes, a sequential gearbox, 430 horsepower and top speeds of 175 MPH.
The 54th iteration of the legendary race sees racing legends from around the world, and from many different racing backgrounds, racing flat-out on both the high-speed banking and the twisting infield road course in a grueling 24-hour marathon, starting at 2.40pm EST on Saturday and finishing at 2.40pm EST on Sunday.
The event will be televised in over 144 countries. Tune in and get ready to cheer for Car #38 and My Yacht Group!
