Monaco, May 25, 2021 – My Yacht® Group returned to the Principality to host a series of curated UHNW receptions & dinners over the F1 weekend.

Against the backdrop of the 78th Monaco Grand Prix, held under strict Covid-19 regulations (limited spectators, no parties, 11pm curfew), MYG continued its international series of Axiom Space Astronaut Dinners, once again welcoming Cdr. Michael Lopez-Alegría who will soon leave the planet for a 5th voyage as Commander of Ax-1, Axiom’s historic first private astronaut mission to the International Space Station, scheduled for early 2022.

Providing the ultimate showcase for the out-of-this-world visuals that aspiring private astronauts will experience, was Samsung’s The Wall, that features hyper-real digital microLED panel display technology, that brings images to life on a bigger, bolder & brighter scale. The Wall’s modularity means it can be customized to a variety of sizes and designs according to spatial needs and aesthetic desires.

Perfectly positioned at the end of the start / finish straight, the exclusive Samsung Lounge, with expert technical support by BondTM, provided the premier indoor / outdoor vantage from which to experience the visual & aural spectacle of all the racing action.

In addition to the ultra-high-definition presentations and trackside hospitality, guests were hosted at the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco.

Axiom Space announced today that Ax-2 will launch in late 2022 / early 2023 with veteran astronaut Peggy Whitson as Commander, and race car entrepreneur John Shoffner as the first confirmed private astronaut aboard.

My Yacht Group and Axiom Space will continue to host The Astronaut Dinners in a series of global cities in the coming months.
