Monaco, May 15th, 2019 – My Yacht® Group (MYG) returns to the Principality of Monaco, May 23 – 26, to host its signature superyacht weekend with prestigious new and returning partners aboard 58m superyacht M/Y Skyfall, celebrating the 90th Anniversary and 77th Edition of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2019.®

Fresh from its St. Bart’s My Yacht debut, M/Y Skyfall – available for charter through IYC Yachts – will provide a magnificent setting for the coveted Friday evening reception and party, that again spotlights charitable partner Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the important environmental work and initiatives it is spearheading both locally and globally.

Ahead of the festivities, and expanding from its 2018 Monaco, Monterey and Art Basel Miami blockchain summits, MYG will bring together leading lights in the new technology field, VC leaders, HNWI, plus renowned NASA astronauts, for a truly unique exploration of new advances and ideas.

Aboard as presenting partner for the first time is Axiom Space Inc. The Houston-based private company, led by a team with multiple decades of experience as industry leaders in human spaceflight – that include NASA’s former International Space Station program manager for 10 years, plus a 4-time astronaut with most logged ‘spacewalk’ hours – is expanding human access to low Earth orbit & building the world’s first internationally available commercial space station, to succeed the ISS in the near future.

In addition to on-orbit research & manufacturing programs, among others, Axiom has entered into an agreement with NASA to train and fly professional, as well as private, astronauts to the ISS.  10-day private astronaut missions will see Space Tourists train alongside professional NASA astronauts with a program designed with optimal preparation & minimal schedule disruption in mind.

Axiom utilizes its unique human spaceflight engineering, training, operations & program management expertise to help governments & agencies build human spaceflight programs in-country. These programs inspire youth to pursue STEM education, promotes the growth of high tech industries, stimulates the economy & is a source of national pride & international respect. A large, diverse group of space faring nations insures the broadest participation and representation of Earth’s population and benefits civilization’s well-being and survival.

“We are excited to create a truly out-of-this-world weekend in Monaco during the Grand Prix,” says Nicholas Frankl, Founder & CEO of My Yacht® Group. “As a private pilot and longtime space enthusiast, what Axiom is doing is simply incredible. Plus, we welcome additional great partners aboard who are moving the needle in their respective fields. These are exciting times and we’re proud to be the connector to this extraordinary collection of companies and individuals.”

Frankl, along with sister and VP, Business Development, Annabelle, will be dressed by Italian luxury ready-to-wear and made-to-measure fashion house Kiton throughout the weekend in designs from the SS18/19 collections.

MonacoTech is the startup Center of Excellence co-founded by the Principality of Monaco, that hand-selects committed, ambitious, innovative companies with high growth potential business projects to get established in the Principality. It provides them with a trusted environment where members not only leverage Monaco’s unique international ecosystem but are also personally shepherded and constantly challenged through a program focused on delivering business structuring best practices.

Its recent Monaco International Blockchain welcomed international experts to the first professional tradeshow dedicated to Blockchain in Monaco and included a pitch competition, with companies vying for a €100,000 investment from tech entrepreneur and accredited angel investor, Dr. Evan Luthra.

Winning with an outstanding pitch was Crescent, led by the visionary Grant Roscoe, who will share more about this revolutionary company aboard My Yacht. Crescent’s mission is to build the simplest way for beginners to invest in cryptocurrency, building the first robo-investing crypto app that offers both an intuitive design and user-friendly experience. Raising funds and issuing a “Security Token” that is Swiss-registered and SEC compliant, the company is sharing 9% of its gross revenue equally amongst its token holders in the form of quarterly dividends. This means by simply owning Crescent’s security tokens, one can receive passive dividends from the company revenue. The security token is planned to list and trade on multiple exchanges following its private and public sale this year.

Aboard in Monaco for the first time, Sally Forster Jones and Tomer Fridman – with a combined $10+ billion total sales volume and 55 years of experience – are globally recognized as Los Angeles’ leading luxury real estate agents. Sally and Tomer have a one-of-a-kind partnership resulting in the most efficient and effective sales of exclusive trophy properties for their high-profile, celebrity and international clientele. Backed by a team of specialized professionals, Sally and Tomer provide the highest quality service in a personally curated manner.

Celebrating an ongoing partnership, Château d’Esclans will pour a selection of its finest rosé wines throughout the weekend including the award-winning, 98-point Garrus, plus its hugely popular Rock Angel and Palm varieties. These, plus Blanc de Blancs and Extra Brut bubbles by Champagne Régi will accompany fine foods by top Monaco caterer À Roca Gourmet served with generous portions of Caviar Perlita.

Live music from the Riviera’s hottest strolling band Odd Socks International and Monaco’s DJ Philippe will provide the entertainment at an evening that is a highly coveted affair, with a very select number of charity invitations available.

My Yacht’s traditional trackside Grand Prix program will be in full effect with guests enjoying gourmet hospitality, F1 and support race viewing from aboard a second 50m superyacht moored next to the track on Quay Kennedy. Providing luxury transportation to and from the yacht will be the revolutionary Lanéva Boats, the Monaco-based company specializing in handcrafted, limited-edition dayboats that was recently launched and inaugurated by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. Built with sustainable materials, electric propulsion and a connected user interface, the boats dispense with noise, fuel smell and heavy maintenance, allowing users to access protected areas without fear of disturbing the environment.

About Axiom Space Inc.

Axiom Space, Inc. is a Houston-based, private company that is expanding human access to low Earth orbit today and building the world’s first internationally available commercial space station to succeed the International Space Station (ISS) in the near future. In the short term, to permit Axiom to operate together with NASA and the other space agencies of the ISS partnership, Axiom has entered into an agreement with NASA to train and fly professional as well as private astronauts to the ISS.
Axiom is offering approximately 10-day private astronaut missions to the ISS. The first mission is currently scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2020.  The four-person crew will be taken to and from the station aboard a U.S. built crew transportation spacecraft procured by Axiom Space.  These are the same vehicles used by NASA and the ISS partners to transport their own astronauts. The offering is all inclusive and comprised of the following services: medical screening and care before, during and after the mission; all necessary training, performed in the same facilities and by the same instructors as NASA astronauts; all logistics supply both for the transport phase and while aboard ISS (food, clothing and other consumables); ready access to communications from the ISS to Earth; and all mission planning and support functions.
