Miami, May 10, 2022 – My Yacht^® Group (MYG) brought its signature flair to Yacht Haven Grande for the inaugural Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, the newest – and hottest! – addition to the annual F1 calendar, that scored a massive touchdown at the Hard Rock Stadium circuit, with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen ultimately topping the podium ahead of Ferrari’s Charles LeClerc and Carlos Sainz, and following an exciting race with several accidents and safety car deployment.

In a town that’s used to large scale events on a weekly basis, the Miami F1 race has already cemented its place on the ‘must attend’ calendar for fans, top celebrities, and UHNWI alike, many of whom could be found aboard Dr. Jonathan Rothberg’s Gene Chaser on Saturday evening, as MYG hosted another of its (U)HNW investor summits, welcoming a curated group of over 100 local and international (U)HNWI, representing over $100bn in liquidity and investable assets, with notable attendees including Olympic champion sprinter Michael Johnson, and members of the Pritzker family.

Guests were greeted by a mouthwatering selection of signature dishes by world-renowned Chef Todd English, including “Liquid Gold”: truffled Alaskan king crab with gold leaf-infused French butter sauce and golden Ossetra caviar, that was prepared in front of guests, in addition to A-5 Wagyu skewers, Spicy tuna tartare with caviar, and Maine lobster rolls on fresh croissants. With accolades that include National Rising Star Chef and Restauranteur of the Year, Chef Todd and The English Hospitality Group is in the midst of a global expansion that will see its 20 eateries grow over the coming months.

MYG Founder & CEO, Nicholas Frankl, addressed the gathered guests and introduced the event partners, including Commander Michael Lopez-Alegría, who kept the audience in rapt attention! Clearly, most aboard had not been in the company of a 5-time US Hall of Fame astronaut, and one freshly returned from a 15-day stay aboard the International Space Station at the helm of the Axiom Space’s first all-private Ax-1 mission.

Gene Chaser, the support vessel for ‘mother ship’ M/Y Gene Machine features a working research laboratory for many of the companies being shepherded by 4Catalyzer. Founded by Dr. Rothberg, the biotech startup accelerator has launched Butterfly Network (NYSE: BFLY), Quantum-Si (NASDAQ: QSI), Hyperfine and Liminal Sciences (NASDAQ: HYPR), Detect, Al Therapeutics, Tesseract, and Protein Evolution, all companies that are transforming 21st century medicine and improving our planet by solving today’s most challenging problems across life.
