Los Angeles April 6, 2016 – For a second consecutive year My Yacht® Group returns to Hong Kong to welcome special guests of partner Bank Vontobel AG aboard a private superyacht reception at the historic Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club in Causeway Bay, with Alex Fung, CEO of Asia, and board executives in attendance.
The firm’s Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG, with offices in Zurich and the United States, is a five-time brand partner at My Yacht Group’s Art Basel Miami Beach reception, with additional collaborations at its Monaco Yacht Show, Monterey CA Concours d’Elegance, and USA F1 Grand Prix events. Bank Vontobel AG founded Vontobel Asia Pacific Ltd. in Hong Kong in 2008, with Vontobel Wealth Management (Hong Kong) Ltd. founded in 2012.

The evening will welcome 50 of the firm’s most important clients, plus HNW guests, and members of some of the region’s most prominent families, among others.
Continuing the relationship begun at last year’s inaugural Hong Kong reception, home for the festivities will be an all-new 28.3m (92.1ft) Custom Line Navetta 28 from the Ferretti Group. With unique exterior lines, the result of the longstanding partnership between Studio Zuccon International Project and the Ferretti Group, Custom Line vessels are tailor-made to each owner’s personal taste and style, with onboard living spaces optimized, while ensuring the owner the highest level of privacy. A master suite and 4 cabins provide luxurious accommodations for 10 guests, while features include a dining area with panoramic round sliding glass doors, vast sunbathing areas fore and aft, and the Dual Mode Transom (DMT) that combines a floodable garage, diving platform and beach club into a single system, the largest available on a yacht this size.
New My Yacht Group partner, Vacheron Constantin, celebrating 260 years of uninterrupted watchmaking excellence, will curate a display and on-board experience for guests, with one of its master watchmakers on hand to showcase a selection of its finest Signature timepieces from the Metier d’Art, High Jewellery, and Historique lines among others, along with a vintage watchmaking machine, plus classic tools and luxury items.
Continuing the Swiss theme, the evening will feature some exceptional artisanal wines from one of the country’s oldest family-owned, and award-winning wineries, Jean-René Germanier, founded in 1886. The Swiss Wine Store will pour its Cayas, Syrah du Valais Reserve (96pts), awarded Best Swiss Wine by Paolo Basso, Best Sommelier of the World 2013; Champmarais Cornalin Reserve, produced in very small quantities (< 2000) and only in good years, from a single vineyard of Cornalin, a rare indigenous grape from Switzerland; and Petite Arvine, an internationally renowned white Valais wine.
Following the success of its collaborations at the Monaco Yacht Show and Art Basel Miami Beach, Pernod Ricard returns to pour some of its most prestigious wines and spirits. Guests will enjoy an on board tasting of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé 2006, along with its Grand Brut, plus Martel Cordon Bleu cognac, and Absolut Vodka.
A quayside lounge will feature a fine selection of Davidoff Cigars including the Winston Churchill, Escurio and Nicaragua lines. Additionally, a DJ and live saxophonist, plus custom photo booth will entertain guests, who will also have the opportunity to view Ferretti Group’s Aquariva Super, a 33-foot timeless classical yacht that fully embodies traditional elegance teamed with outstanding performance.
